Spiritual Gatherings & Devotional Events

Shree Khatu Shyam Parivar UK CIC is a spiritual community of Sanatan Dharma (Hindu faith) followers residing across the United Kingdom. United by devotion, the group is dedicated to the worship and service of Shree Khatu Shyam Ji—a revered deity celebrated for His compassion, mercy, and the fulfillment of His devotees' wishes.

Also known as Barbarik or Shyam Baba, Shree Khatu Shyam Ji is believed to be an incarnation of Lord Krishna, and is worshipped in this divine and powerful form by followers around the world.

Our Activities

Devotion and Worship of Shree Khatu Shyam Ji

In recent years, a significant number of professionals from India—particularly in the fields of information technology, medicine, and other sectors—have relocated to various parts of the UK. Many of these families, who are of Indian origin and followers of the Hindu faith, deeply value the opportunity to worship and celebrate Shree Khatu Shyam Ji. These celebrations allow them to maintain a strong connection to their rich cultural and devotional heritage.

Pilgrimage and Festivals

We will organise events across the UK throughout the year, including—but not limited to—the celebration of Shree Khatu Shyam Ji's birthday during the Hindu month of Kartik (typically in November), the Phalguna Mela Mahotsav (usually in March), monthly bhajan gatherings (religious and devotional singing), Krishna Janmashtami (the birth of Lord Krishna), Holi (the festival of colours), and Diwali (the festival of lights). These events will be hosted at various locations across the UK, bringing devotees together to offer prayers and celebrate our shared spiritual heritage.

Establish a Common Place of Worship and Community Centre

Shree Khatu Shyam Parivar UK CIC aims to establish a central place of worship in the UK, along with a community centre. These spaces will serve not only members of our immediate community but will also warmly welcome individuals from the wider Hindu community. The centre will be a hub for spiritual activities, cultural gatherings, and religious education.

Preserve Traditions, Culture and Art

We plan to organise a variety of activities for families—especially the younger generation—to help them appreciate and connect with our rich traditions, culture, and artistic heritage. These activities will include, but not be limited to, Indian classical dance forms, Indian classical music, and devotional singing such as Bhajans and Kirtans. Our goal is to preserve and promote these values for future generations.

Our Mission

Our goal to establish worship places for Khatu Shyam

Shree Khatu Shyam Parivar UK brings together devotees of Khatu Shyam (Barbarik) and Lord Krishna, offering a vibrant spiritual platform for bhajans, satsangs, and the celebration of significant Hindu festivals. Our aim is to nurture devotion, preserve cultural values, and create a sense of belonging among the UK-based Shyam Bhakts through collective prayer, service, and joyful gatherings.
